New Frontiers Cowboy Church is pleased to announce that as of summer, 2010, it has taken over ownership and governance of Lighthouse Christian Academy.
From the founding of the church, the heart of NFCC has always been to participate in Christian education. The church is excited to own, grow, and develop our school, and it is anticipating the wonderful work God has in store for Lighthouse!
How Our School Began
Desiring Christian education for their children, and understanding that there are other families who desire a Christian education in a smaller environment for their children, Lighthouse Christian Academy was established in 2007 by families in the Van Zandt county area. The vision is to develop a small, close-knit student community, growing and learning in the security of familiar teachers who teach in a Christian environment. The staff and faculty, students and families would love to welcome your family to Lighthouse Christian Academy.
Lighthouse is truly a school built by families, for families.

Small Class Sizes
NFL welcomes students from grades K through 12. Currently, we operate multi-age classrooms. As we continue to grow, we plan to add grade-specific classrooms. Our small class sizes enable students to receive individualized attention and instruction. From time to time, students may be called upon to offer assistance to their younger classmates as supervised by their teacher. Few things reinforce a concept more strongly for a student than when they have to explain learned material to another individual.
Our kindergarten through 3rd grade classes have 12 students to one teacher, and our 4th through 6th grade classes have 14 students to one teacher.
At the middle and high school levels, no more than 16 students will be assigned to one teacher.
